Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, New Delhi (formerly M.N.E.S.) has been allotting
the targets to the State Nodal Agency, i.e., NREDCAP Ltd. and basing on the
potentiality, the targets are distributed to the Districts. NREDCAP is having
22 branch offices in the State. The District Office headed by Executive Engineer
/ District Manager with Junior Manager and Technical staff implementing the Biogas
programme through the approved Biogas Development Agencies / Self Employed Workers
on Turn Key basis. The M.N.R.E., New Delhi provides subsidy as detailed below and
the balance of unit cost has to be met by the individual beneficiary.
